Markets, fetes, sports days and presentations

Community events are usually outdoors, usually have no reliable power where you need it, and usually involve announcements that half the crowd cannot hear. Battery sound with wireless microphones solves all three, and we can set up early and stay out of the way.

A community event set up in an open reserve

What actually matters

Planning community events in the ranges

Power is usually the problem
Reserves, ovals and showgrounds rarely have power where the stage is. Battery sound removes the question entirely.
Announcements must carry
Across an oval or a market, you need real output — not a PA borrowed from a classroom.
Weather happens
IP65-rated equipment means a shower does not shut the event down.
Crowd moments
A t-shirt cannon or confetti at a presentation reliably gets the biggest reaction of the day.

Community events, questions

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. Councils and reserve committees usually want a certificate of currency — ask when you book and we will send it.

Can you cover a whole oval?

For a large open site we may recommend two speakers rather than one. Tell us the size and expected crowd and we will advise honestly.

Do you offer community group rates?

Talk to us. For school, sporting and not-for-profit community events we will do what we can on price.

Delivery

Where we deliver

We deliver up to 50km from our Kyneton depot. Free delivery within 15km — see delivery pricing. Not on the list? Call us — if you are close to the edge we will usually still make it work.
