Wedding hire across the Macedon Ranges

Ceremony sound, reception lighting, and a photo booth everyone uses

Most weddings around here happen on private property, in a marquee, or in a garden with no power near where people will actually be standing. That shapes everything we recommend: battery sound that works at the ceremony, lighting that turns a shed or marquee into a room, and gear that is set up and tested long before guests arrive.

What actually matters

Planning weddings in the ranges

  • The ceremony is the hard part

Outdoor vows compete with wind and open air. Battery sound with wireless mics means the back row hears the vows — which is the one thing nobody gets a second take at.

  • Lighting matters more than you think

A marquee or shed looks completely different once it is uplit. It is the single biggest visual change you can make for the money, and it is what the photos will show.

  • Set up the day before where possible

On Macedon Ranges properties with long driveways and sloping ground, we would rather rig it the day before than fight the clock while you are getting ready.

  • One supplier, one delivery

Sound, lighting, photo booth, furniture and styling from one place means one delivery window and one person to call — not five.

Weddings — questions

Can you run sound for an outdoor ceremony with no power?
Yes — that is exactly what our speaker package is built for. A 40-hour battery and two wireless microphones, so the ceremony, speeches and reception all run without a generator or a cable.
How far ahead should we book?
For a Saturday between October and March, three to six months. Weddings book our lighting and photo booth first, and those are the items that run out.
Do you set up and pack down on the day?
Setup is included and we will usually do it well ahead of time. Pack-down is normally the following morning for weddings, which is included — we do not make you deal with it at midnight.
Can you work with our venue or planner?
Yes. Give us their contact and we will coordinate access, timing and power directly so you are not relaying messages.
